iPhone Webclip Icon

When a website visitor creates a webclip (a short cut to your site on their iPhone screen) you want them to see a cool customised icon, right?

Doing this is quite simple…

  • Create a 57×57 PNG.
  • Name it “apple-touch-icon.png”
  • Throw it in the root folder of your website. (where your index.php or index.html lives)

You don’t need to create those lighting effects, the iPhone will automaticly put the glazed cover over the top of your icon for you.
